At this point reflex definitely has more features and modes, it also has user created tracks etc you can download and while encore will probably end up being comprable to reflex in user created content it just isn't there yet. Graphics in encore are a little better but there isn't that much difference. The physics are different in the two games but you can get used to either one, and really learning either one is gonna take a pretty good while - expect as long as a year to get really good. In short, if you really want a good bit of free roam territory go with Reflex. I'm personally happy with Encore but there are people who aren't. You can ride the tracks without racing in free roam mode but there isn't a lot of area to ride around and explore. I ride irl too and I agree having free roam is a good break from racing all the time, and who doesn't like a good trail ride? Encore is still considered in early access and they've been working on changes, updates, bugs and adding features. But that doesn't make Reflex any less of a great game and it does have some great free roam worlds. I've played reflex so much I'm ready for something different I guess. Reflex is a great game, but I'm glad to have supercross encore.
